It’s the age old question: which is the best martial art, karate or taekwondo? Maybe its neither of those, but hapkido or kung fu? Whichever your answer, I would bet that it’s the martial art that you do, not the strange club next door.
Has the question got boring yet? No! Almost the first thing I remember when I started taekwondo at age 12 was being told that we were “so much better than…” I don’t remember who, as it happens.
Is it a useful stance to take, instilling a pride in what you do, or does it encourage an unjustified arrogance that leads to half-hearted training in the long run?
